I am Natasha L. Taylor, PMP, MHA. I am a mother, a survivor, and a healthcare leader with more than twenty-two years of experience across long-term care, hospice, mental health, wound care, cardiac diagnostics, triage, and behavioral health. My professional journey includes service at the VA Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, alongside skilled leaders such as Bette S., and hands-on experience in LTACs, hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation programs. I also hold Florida ALF Core Training, medication pass certification, and have contributed to workforce development by helping create a CNC women’s manufacturing program with SSP Manufacturing.

My commitment to this work is rooted in lived reality. I was kicked out of my home at nine years old. I became a mother at fifteen. I survived three domestic violence relationships, after witnessing domestic violence throughout my childhood. Those experiences left me homeless, broke, depressed, and at times ready to give up completely. But life had a different assignment for me. I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees while homeless, proving to myself and to others that transformation is possible when the right support and structure exist.

She Is Us United Inc. was created from that truth. It is not a shelter or clinical site. It is a trauma-informed program design and advocacy organization that builds scalable systems for healing. We develop emotional justice curricula, trauma recovery models, and community-centered programs that organizations can implement inside their shelters, clinics, churches, youth centers, or community health spaces. We give partners the tools needed to deliver dignity, structure, and real outcomes for women and families.

From the same foundation, I built Golden Roots Healthcare System, a holistic model that integrates public health, spiritual grounding, community wellness, and ancestral knowledge into a unified care system. Golden Roots represents the broader ecosystem. She Is Us United Inc. provides the operational frameworks, policies, and trauma-informed pathways that help communities implement that ecosystem effectively.

I hold a Master’s in Healthcare Administration, a Master’s in Health Information Management, and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. I completed training in biomedical research ethics, social and behavioral research, and responsible conduct of research through the CITI Program. I am also a registered lobbyist in the State of Florida representing She Is Us United Inc. before both the Executive and Legislative branches.

My leadership extends across multiple state and national bodies. I proudly serve on or contribute to:

I also founded The Humanity Project, a trauma-informed curriculum designed to restore emotional stability, rebuild dignity, and strengthen public health systems through compassion, community, and evidence-based care.

My purpose is clear. I design systems that protect people. I build programs grounded in evidence, lived expertise, cultural humility, public health, and trauma science. I use my credentials and experience to open doors, change policy, and strengthen the institutions that women, youth, and families depend on.

This is the work.

This is the model.

This is the movement.

And this is only the beginning.
